You are…
Lifestyle, portrait and travel photographer. A South African girl from Cape Town, now living the dream in Dubai with my husband. Absolutely obsessed with traveling the world. Photography has been my passion since a very young age and I am very blessed to be able to follow my dream.
Your style in three words…
Simplistic, Soft, Romantic
Any items of our brand that you particularly like?
How would you desribe the woman wearing Dressarte Paris clothes?
Your ideal outfit to wear every day…
I like to keep it simple and timeless. Jeans and T-shirt, but in the summer when it gets very hot, then I tend to opt for a light loose summer dress.
Your favorite places in Dubai…
I love dining out and Dubai is the perfect place for that with endless varieties and choices. My favorites at the moment:
Coffee – Tom & Serg, the best coffee in Dubai.
Breakfast – Friends Avenue a healthy wholesome breakfast.
Lunch – Well a brunch is always a good idea, but for a relaxed afternoon catching up with some friends, The Maine is great and the fish tacos are out of this world.
Sunset Drinks – Palm Grill, on the beach front with your feet in the sand watching the sunset.
Dinner – Mythos, a quaint little spot in JTL with the most amazing Greek Food and ambiance.
Where do you find inspiration in Dubai?
In Dubai, the inspiration is all around, all the time. From beautiful architectural buildings to the heritage at the Dubai Creek and my ultimate favorite the wide-open space of the desert. But the thing that inspires me the most is the light… You can take me anywhere, in the right time of day when the light is soft and golden (sunrise or sunset) and the creative juices just flow.
