If you find that you resonate with features from more than one body type, it’s possible that you may have some elements of the adjacent types. For example, you might have a primary body type with secondary features from a neighboring type. This is why some people may feel they have a mix of characteristics.

This type is often associated with moderate to tall height, it’s important to remember that height alone is not the sole determinant of a body type in the Kibbe system. The key is to look at the overall balance and proportions of your features.

The Flamboyant Natural body type is characterized by bold and angular features, a slightly broad frame, and a strong, athletic build. Here are some general clothing recommendations:

Say Yes:
  1. Bold Patterns: Embrace bold and large-scale patterns such as geometric prints, checks, and stripes to complement your strong features.
  2. Structured Silhouettes: Opt for structured and tailored silhouettes that highlight your bold bone structure and provide a well-defined shape.
  3. Angular Necklines: Choose necklines that follow the angles of your bone structure, such as V-necks, square necklines, or asymmetrical designs.
  4. Dramatic Accessories: Bold and substantial accessories like chunky jewelry, statement belts, and large handbags can complement your Flamboyant Natural essence.
  5. Textured Fabrics: Experiment with textured fabrics like tweed, denim, or corduroy to add visual interest to your outfits.
  6. Trousers and Jeans: Flared or wide-legged trousers and jeans can balance your proportions and complement your strong frame.
  7. Bold Colors: Embrace bold and intense colors that resonate with your strong and dynamic personality. Earthy tones and jewel tones work well.
Say No:
  1. Overly Frilly Styles: Avoid overly frilly or delicate styles that may contrast with your bold and strong features.
  2. Shapeless Clothing: Steer clear of shapeless or overly loose clothing that may hide your natural curves and strong bone structure.
  3. Tiny, Delicate Prints: Avoid tiny and delicate prints that may get lost on your bold and substantial features. Opt for larger, more impactful patterns.
  4. Soft and Drapey Fabrics: While some drape can be flattering, overly soft and drapey fabrics might not provide the structure that complements your natural essence.
  5. Intricate Detailing: Be cautious with overly intricate detailing, as it may distract from your bold features. Opt for clean lines and minimalistic designs.
  6. Too Many Layers: Avoid too many layers or overly complex layering, as it may overwhelm your strong and angular frame.

While determining celebrities’ Kibbe body types can be subjective and interpretations may vary, here is a breakdown of how some of the mentioned celebrities are often categorized:

  1. My wedding dress turned out exactly as I had envisioned. The process was smooth and easy. Nathalie was quick to respond and during the fitting process she was excellent at prompting me for answers about things I hadn’t thought of such as arm movement, specific spots I should double check, etc. The only change I would make is to indicate that prices are in USD.

  2. I feared this to be the most stressful part of planning our wedding, but the team at Dressarte made it an enjoyable, confidence boosting and easy endeavour. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and gave brilliant options for both budget and style. The dressmaker they paired with with has incredible talent, and turned my vision into a work of art. Thank you all so much!

  3. Extremely fun process that yielded a perfect dress. I was super picky and the team sent me many rounds of fabric options until I was happy. The dress itself was super well made and everyone at my wedding was blown away by it. I would 100% use Dressarte for special events again in the future.

  5. We were married last week and we had an amazing day with friends and family. The wedding was perfect. And so was my dress. I was so happy with it, just what I imagined and I had lots of compliments too.

We don’t yet have our photographs from the photographer, but it really was beautiful and I’m so happy that I had my dress made by Dressarte. Thank you again.
