Wedding ceremony Location
Our very first international trip together was a 10-day driving tour around Ireland. We stumbled upon Mussenden Temple during our drive along the Northern Coast and thought the temple and surrounding grounds were absolutely beautiful. A few years later after we got engaged, we were trying to decide where to get married, and we found out that Mussenden Temple had wedding packages! Hence, we made the decision to get married over there, and thankfully our family was up for the adventure! To be honest, we weren’t sure how many people would be able to make such a long trip, so we felt incredibly lucky that so many people showed up for us on our special day.
wedding dress shopping
Believe it or not, I was engaged once before and had bought a wedding dress from a local store. I kept that dress for quite a few years, but after such a long time, the wedding dress I originally purchased didn’t feel like it fit who I was as a person anymore. As a result, I felt like I needed a “fresh start”, so I began the search for other dress options to find out “How to get a custom wedding dress?”
Once I found Dressarte, things fell into place. I knew that I didn’t want to relive the wedding dress shopping experience in-person, so being able to do everything remotely was really great. I gave Nathalie at Dressarte some ideas of what I wanted for my dream dress, and she provided some really amazing options right from the start. From there, it was just a matter of fine-tuning the small details to get the dress just right!

Custom wedding dress made by Dressarte Paris
I found Dressarte when I was searching through Instagram, and there were a lot of things I liked about Dressarte right from the start. I loved the idea of doing a virtual consult rather than having to go to different stores and try on a bunch of dresses. In addition, I also love that they use upcycled and eco-friendly fabrics, as it’s good for the environment and is usually more affordable than other materials.
I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, but Nathalie’s sketches helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for. Later she also suggested some really nice details and finishing touches that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own. Thanks to her I got the clear picture of the process and how to get a custom wedding dress online.
My favorite part of the process was receiving the final product! I’ll admit, I was a little nervous when I got the sample dress. I wasn’t sure the final dress would end up fitting me even after I sent some revised measurements… but it turned out just perfect in the end!
To conclude, If you have a really strong sense of what you’re looking for, but just can’t seem to find it, let Nathalie and the team at Dressarte create your dream dress.
